Roveday ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our software as a Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Data: When you register for a Provider account, we collect your name, email address, physical home base address, and password.

Customer Data: When a Customer books an appointment, we collect their name, email address, phone number, and physical service location. We process this data solely to facilitate the booking on behalf of the Provider.

Geographic Data: We convert physical addresses into GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) to calculate travel times. These coordinates are processed through third-party mapping APIs.

2. Third-Party Calendar Integration (Google/Apple)

To prevent double-booking, Roveday offers an optional integration with your personal or business calendars (e.g., Google Calendar, Apple Calendar) via our partner, Nylas.

  • What we access: We strictly request read-only access to your calendar events to determine "busy" or "free" times.
  • What we do not do: We do not store your calendar event titles, descriptions, or attendees on our servers. We do not sell or share your calendar data with outside marketing entities.
  • Revoking access: You may disconnect your calendar from Roveday at any time within your dashboard settings, which will immediately revoke our access tokens.

3. Payment Information

All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. Roveday does not directly collect, process, or store your credit card numbers or bank account details. Stripe's use of your personal information is governed by their independent Privacy Policy.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Calculate logistics and matrix routing times.
  • Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, cancellations).
  • Prevent fraud and maintain the security of our infrastructure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with essential third-party service providers (such as hosting, mapping, and email dispatch services) strictly for the purpose of operating the Roveday platform.
